At HOUNÖ, we take the security of our products, software and connected services seriously.
If you believe you have identified a security vulnerability affecting a HOUNÖ product, software application or connected service, please report it to us as soon as possible.

Report a security vulnerability

Please send your report to: security@houno.com

Please include as much of the following information as possible:

• Your name and contact details
• The affected product and model
• The product serial number, if available
• The relevant software or firmware version
• A clear description of the vulnerability
• The steps required to reproduce the issue
• The potential impact of the vulnerability
• Any relevant screenshots, logs or technical information
• Whether you believe the vulnerability is being actively exploited

Please do not include passwords, access credentials, customer data or other unnecessary personal or confidential information in your initial report.

What happens after you submit a report?

HOUNÖ will:

1. Acknowledge receipt of the report.
2. Review and assess the reported vulnerability.
3. Contact you if additional information is required.
4. Take appropriate corrective or mitigating action.
5. Provide relevant security information or updates to affected customers when necessary.

We ask that you allow HOUNÖ reasonable time to investigate and address the issue before publicly disclosing information about the vulnerability.
Please do not exploit the vulnerability, access or modify other parties’ data, disrupt product operation or perform testing that could cause damage or safety risks.

Product security updates

Security updates and information concerning affected HOUNÖ products will be published on this page or communicated directly to affected customers and service partners where appropriate.

For ordinary technical support, spare parts, warranty cases or product-service requests, please contact your usual HOUNÖ service partner or use our general contact form.

Privacy

Personal information submitted as part of a vulnerability report will be processed only as necessary to investigate, manage and resolve the reported security issue, in accordance with HOUNÖ’s privacy policy.
