Product information
Preserve the longevity of your oven and shield it from the detrimental impacts of scale and mineral deposits by maintaining the right water quality. HydroShield effectively eliminates both carbonate hardness and total hardness, preventing the accumulation of residues that can lead to corrosion and damage stainless steel components in your oven.
Water quality
The water coming into the oven must have a maximum total hardness of 3 dH. There should be no chlorine in the water.
Water with a pH value less than 7 must be prevented, as the acidity will cause corrosion to the oven. Typically, reverse osmosis water is acidic at pH 6.
Any chloride must be less than 100 mg/l and even this requires regular cleaning to avoid residues and chloride build-up.
