Maison Petry, a cherished bakery located in Matzenheim, France, is a testament to the enduring dedication of a family steeped in the art of Alsatian baking. Specializing in traditional Alsatian delicacies such as Bretzel, Streusel, and Kouglof, Maison Petry offers a daily menu with one dish and a daily special, showcasing their culinary prowess. The bakery, managed by Mr. Petry and his family, has not only gained local acclaim but also national recognition. In January 2022, their two bakeries competed as rivals in the renowned television show “La Meilleure Boulangerie de France,” where Kevin, Mr. Petry’s son, won the family duel, a proud moment for his father.

The decision to equip Maison Petry with HOUN\u00d6 ovens long time ago was driven by a combination of reliability and superior Scandinavian craftsmanship. “Initially, we chose HOUN\u00d6 for warranty and the dependability of our first electromechanical Visual Cooking B oven,” says Mr. Petry. The result? Consistent, beautifully uniform bakes throughout the year, regardless of who is operating the oven.

When the old oven in the second bakery, managed by Kevin, finally gave out, there was no question about the replacement. “The choice of the new HOUN\u00d6 Invoq oven was made without hesitation,” Mr. Petry asserts. The Invoq has brought not only continuity but also enhanced quality to their baked goods.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

Mr. Petry highlights several features that make the Invoq oven indispensable. “We already appreciated the reliability of the programs on the predecessor Touch model \u2014 its simplicity and effective maintenance. The same culinary advisor supported us during the commissioning of the Invoq, which is incredibly user-friendly. The ease of programming, operation, and the efficient cleaning system are standout features,” he says.
