These terms and conditions shall apply to all purchases of goods on houno.com
These General Terms of Sales and Delivery for HOUNÖ A/S (“HOUNÖ”) apply to all deliveries of products and services (“Products”) by HOUNÖ to any customer (“Buyer”).
The terms shall be mutually binding on HOUNÖ and Buyer unless HOUNÖ accepts any discrepancies in writing.
HOUNÖ will not be bound by terms applied by the Buyer, which differ from these terms unless such terms are agreed in writing between HOUNÖ and Buyer.
Only business customers can create a user profile and trade on the site.
On the homepage, choose the products you want to buy by putting them in the “shopping cart”. It is not possible via the website to purchase goods in batch orders. You can always see in the shopping cart which products you have chosen as well as the price of goods and shipping costs. All prices indicated do not include VAT.
Once you have selected your items and are ready to order, click “Go to checkout” where you can choose payment method and delivery method. You can change the contents of the shopping cart right up until you press the “Go to payment”. After this, your order has been placed.
If you are an invoice customer, the payment terms must be observed. If the payment deadline is not met you can only buy using a credit card. By exceeding the payment deadline a fee can be applied.
Presentation of goods on Houno.com shall be considered merely as an invitation to make offers. When you press the “Confirm payment”, you submit a binding offer to us about wanting to buy the selected items on the indicated terms.
3. Delivery and transfer of risk
The expected standard delivery time of products we have in stock, is 2-5 days. If we do not we have the product in stock, it may take longer.
We will as far as possible keep you informed about when to expect delivery.
All items are delivered DAP. We pass the risk when we transfer goods to the independent carrier, who must deliver the goods to you.
We are in no event responsible for the delay in relation to the agreed delivery dates due to force majeure or other reasonably unforeseeable circumstances hindering the delivery.
4. Right of ownership
Right of ownership to goods sold remain with HOUNÖ (or a third party to whom the rights have been assigned) until the purchase price is paid in full, including interest and other costs.
5. Defects and Complaints
You are required to examine the goods immediately upon receipt for the detection of shortage or other visible defects. Complaints must be placed within 8 days of receipt. Otherwise, you forfeit a right to claim any such defects.
Complaints concerning defective products must be made in writing and without delay to firstname.lastname@example.org right after the defect is or should have been discovered. In case of failure to do so, you forfeit a right to any claim against us in respect thereof.
You will receive further instructions from us after our receipt of your complaint.
On returning a defective good, it must be accompanied by a description of the fault or defect. Return of goods must be made to:

If it turns out that a lack of performance is due to improper installation or misuse, the complaint is rejected. In case of a justified complaint about a defective product we will refund the purchase price of the goods and the shipping charges you paid for the delivery. Within reasonable limits, we cover your costs of returning the goods to us. Upon a justified complaint about shortage, we will contact you in order to arrange delivery of the missing items as soon as possible.
All purchases on Houno.com are final. You have no right of cancellation or return in relation to goods purchased on Houno.com.
HOUNÖ provides a 1-year warranty on all items purchased on houno.com.
We do not guarantee that the ordered product will lead to a specific outcome for you.
Regardless of the basis, on which a claim is made, we are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of profits or the like.
In any case, our liability shall be limited to the amount you paid for the item.
7. Intellectual property rights
HOUNÖ A/S is the owner, or licensee of all rights, including copyright, trademark rights and all other intellectual property rights to the content of the website Houno.com and its sub-pages, as well as to all products marketed thereon. All rights reserved.
HOUNÖ name and HOUNÖ logo are trademarks of HOUNÖ A/S and must not be used without our explicit consent.

To create a user profile or to buy on houno.com you must state at least: company and CVR / VAT number, name, address, email address and telephone/mobile number.
The above data is used to manage your user profile, as well as for the implementation of your orders, payment and delivery.
Your personal information and order information will not be deleted as long as you have a user profile with us. If you close your user profile, the individual information, including which products you have purchased, will be deleted five years from the end of the financial year, to which the information relates, see Bookkeeping Act § 10
We will not disclose your information to third parties, except in connection with a restructuring or a full or partial sale of HOUNÖ A/S. Any disclosure of such a situation would be in accordance with then-current privacy legislation.
As a minimum, we need your name and e-mail address if you want to subscribe to our newsletter. The information you enter at registration, will only be used for sending the newsletter. If you opt out of the newsletter, the information will be erased.
We have implemented security measures to protect the personal information that we collect. Information pertaining to the implementation of payments on the website are sent encrypted.
As a customer you are entitled to access to our registration data about you. You can object to a registration or request a registration changed or deleted in accordance with the rules on this in the Personal Data Protection Act. 9. Governing law and disputes
All purchases of goods via Houno.com is subject to Danish law. Any disputes between the parties arising out of or in relation to purchases via Houno.com shall be governed by Danish law, except for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Any dispute, which can not be settled amicably, shall be brought before the court by HOUNÖ A/S jurisdiction in the Court of Randers.
