How long is the warranty period?
HOUNÖ always gives 4 years warranty on all new produced combi units.
The standard warranty period runs for 48 months from production date of the unit. The first 12 months is the general factory warranty. The following 36 months cover all parts needed for covered repairs.
Can I extend the warranty period?
It is possible to extend the start period of the warranty up to 6 months from the manufacturing date until installation date. Please note, the combi unit must be registered within 8 weeks of the installation date.
NOTE: The warranty applies only if the combi unit is at all time up to and until the date of installation, stored at an air-conditioned location at a temperature, which is stable and above 0 °C.
How do I determine whether my combi oven is still under warranty?
The manufacturing date of the oven determines the start date of the 4-year warranty period. The manufacturing date is found on the oven serial number.
How do I find the serial number on a HOUNÖ combi?
The serial number for your combi oven can be found on the rating plate.

Why is the installation checklist needed when installing an oven?
To ensure the oven is covered by the warranty, the installation checklist must be filled in after the oven is installed, reviewed and signed by the technician.

As soon as we receive your claim, our technical support team will look into it. You will receive a reply the same day of submitting the claim if the claim is received within opening hours.
